Camping at Camp-It

Join LPL for their June and September weekend camping trips to Camp-It campground near Saugatuck, Michigan.

In June, there will be an "on-your-own" weekend, were there is no formal LPL event planned, but members will be camping in the Old Horseshoe during the designated weekend. (Reservations should be made directly with CampIt if you want to camp for this "impromptu" camping weekend.)

In September, the traditional LPL camping with all the frills will take place - and although CampIt has taken our traditional Retro Dance Party away from us, we will have something fun planned to inject a bit of fun into the woods. You do need to register with LPL for this trip, and then we handle everything for your for the whole weekend(campground reservations, food, beverage, activities, group site, etc.)

One reasonable rate* includes the camp site fee, Friday night dinner; Saturday breakfast, snacks, and dinner; Sunday continental breakfast; all weekend games & events; as well as all the soda and beer you can drink.
* As of the 2002 season, Camp-It is requiring a $10 membership to enter the campground. The membership is good for the entire summer and is applicable to any trips you make to Camp-It. LPL events are able to include this membership if you have not already purchased it on a previous trip or directly from the campground.

All you really need is a tent, sleeping bag and the desire to have fun. We take care of the arrangements, the meals, related equipment, and beverages. (Hard liquor & mixers not included.) Suggestions: don't forget your swimsuit, sunscreen, your weekend wardrobe, maybe a favorite game or reading material, and if you are really feeling campy - DECORATIONS to suit your personality!
