Lincoln Park Lagooners as an Organization is Inducted Into Chicago's GLBT Hall of Fame!

On Oct. 27, 2004,  LPL was inducted into Chicago's Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame. Created by Mayor Daley in 1989, and the only one of its kind in the country, Chicago's Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame honors individuals and organizations that have served Chicago's gay & lesbian community in an outstanding manner. LPL's entire Board of Directors, as well as many members, were on hand to receive this honor from Mayor Daley and the City of Chicago. A celebration following the event was held at the Soul Cafe'.
