Who we are...

LPL is a not-for-profit organization whose focus is to provide social activities and community service to the gay and lesbian community.  Our membership is open to all and our recreational activities are enjoyed by all ages, backgrounds, ethnic groups, and income levels.  We are proud of the friendships that have been made across the spectrum and are happy to welcome anyone with a positive attitude who enjoys a good time. 

...And what we do

Some of our larger events include traveling to Wisconsin or Michigan for white-water rafting and camping, as well as our weekly bowling league that gets together here at home.  For many Chicago weekend events, we establish a meeting time or place to gather.  Sometimes we create our own reasons to get together and enjoy the company of friends at game nights, miscellaneous LPL socials, and holiday parties. In addition, we have donated large sums of money to local charities through fundraisers and our own social gatherings.  The scope of of future possibilities is limited only by the power of suggestion and the willingness of our members to make it happen!
