Happy Pride Week to you...  Following are a couple of things going on this week were you can look for your LPL friends to enjoy and celebrate.

Wednesday, June 25, 2008 - Hairspray

Hairspray at Hollywood BeachThe Chicago Park District's "movies in the park" is showing this screen version of the Broadway play starring John Travolta this week at Hollywood Beach. WHAT FUN!!!  We have decided to make a meeting spot for all LPL'ers who want to sit together -- Look for the pink balloons - Jackie and Christine will have an area 'staked out' for us, bring a blanket, snacks, (bug spray??), and come enjoy with the group!

Schedule Notes: All movies begin at dusk; start times are approximated. Closed captioning is provided. This movie is being shown at Osterman Beach (Hollywood Ave. at Lake Michigan)

Parade Time!

Chicago is blessed with a huge assortment of Pride Month activities ~ topped off by the Pride Parade on Sunday the 29th.  Happy pride and lots of fun to all -- See you in front of the North End during the parade!  Have a great time!

  • Group trip to the Botanic Garden or Architectal Tour
