"Drive-In" Movie Night
Saturday, August 16, 2008:

Damian's Back Yard: 4311 N. Bernard

Arrive after 7pm - Showtime @ Dusk (8pm)
Rain or Shine! (We do have plans in case Mother Nature Doesn't Cooperate with us.)

Concessions: Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Soda, and Candy only $1

LPL Picnic at Hollywood Beach
Sunday, August 24, 2008:

All day long - in the grassy area just north of the beach (just look for the balloons).

There's no "All-Groups" Picnic in Bussy Woods this year, so we are having our own outdoor gathering, but in keeping with the tradition it is bring your own food and drink and if you know someone from another organization, they are very welcome to join us!

(Please remember that like all Chicago Park District properties, the Hollywood Beach does not allow alcoholic beverages - so if you include alcohol in your picnic basket, be sure that you use discreet, nondescript containers.)

Also -- feel free to bring anything else that you enjoy for a beach or picnic afternoon (i.e. chairs, blankets, outdoor games, etc.)
