Group Meet-Up: This Saturday, June 27th -
Mamma Mia: the Sing-a-long version

Hairspray at Hollywood Beach The Chicago Park District's "movies in the park" is showing this screen version of popular hit this week at Hollywood Beach. WHAT FUN!!! (Thanks for all the feedback from last year's gathering @ the Hairspray showing -- begging to do this again -- Here we are!!!)

We have decided to make a meeting spot for all LPL'ers who want to sit together -- Look for the pink balloons - Some of us will have an area 'staked out', bring a blanket, snacks, (bug spray??), and come enjoy with the group!

Date: 06/27/09
Start Time: 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Schedule Notes: All movies begin at dusk.
Cost: free
Location : Osterman Beach (a.k.a. "Hollywood Beach")

Chicago is blessed with a huge assortment of Pride Month activities ~ topped off by the Pride Parade on Sunday the 28th.

SoFo Bar Party - "Summer Encore"
Sunday, July 12, 2009 @ 5pm:

You responded so positively to April's "Bar Party", that we will be having another -

This time we will take advantage of the summer season, utilizing SoFo's outdoor beer garden, including a DJ spinning tunes on the patio. (...of course the indoors will also be open for the A/C worshipers!) We will start gathering at 5pm, and look forward to seeing y'all there -- bring a friend & meet someone new! We will bring some goodies and hope to have some surprises.
