LPL has been accepted into the Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame!

Hi Everyone- LPL has been accepted into the Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame!!!!!
Awards night is Oct. 27th at the Cultural Center. (LPL Party to follow!)

AWARDS BANQUET:
***G.A.R. Hall of the Chicago Cultural Center - 77 E. Randolph Street at Michigan Ave.
Reception starts at 5:30p.m. with a hors d’oeuvres buffet & beverages.
***Actual program starts at 6:00 p.m. with the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus, with Mayor Daley and the
Chair of the Commission of Human Relations Clarence N. Wood, presenting the awards.

Let's all go celebrate an historic evening for LPL and come cheer on our group as we accept our induction into the Hall of Fame from Mayor Daley. A very limited number of people and groups are accepted each year, so this is a very big honor! Everyone is invited - - THE MORE THE MERRIER! Keep your calendar open this night and join us to accept this award that has taken 27 years of dedication from our friends before us along with all of the current members today.

There will be a celebration following the awards presentation from 7:30-10:00p.m. at:
Soul Café, 1301 W. Hollywood (Corner of Ridge, Wayne & Hollywood)
