All Groups Picnic

Thanks go out to to WSGA, who has resurrected the "All-Groups Picnic", scheduled to take place again on August 30, 2009. LPL will once again take part in this event and we look forward to once again being a part of this long and popular tradition!

August Sunday Afternoon - Anytime Noon to Dusk:

Come and party with members of other associations including the West Suburban Gay Association (the host), Asians & Friends, CAAN, Bungalo, Rainbow Brunch, Oak Park Gay and Lesbian Association and the Fairy Gardeners! Meet new friends! Renew old acquaintances! Bring some food, some drink, a guest or two, and just have fun!

RAIN OR SHINE -- There is a covered pavilion so bring your favorite board/card games. Volleyball, egg/balloon toss will be provided. Bring your own food and beverages* and a lawn chair if you like. A grill will be available. Hope to see you there.
( * Alcohol is permitted, but glass containers are prohibited in the Forest Preserve.)

Directions:
(NOTE: This event is in a slightly different spot from where it used to be years ago!) Take the Northwest Tollway (I-90) west to I-290 (south). Exit at Higgins Rd going east. Take the FIRST LEFT entrance into Busse Woods (entrance sign says “Busse Forest West”). The All Groups Picnic is at Grove Shelter 31 along a beautiful pond.
